Being Present
Sometimes life gets in the way. How much of the time are we actually aware of what we are doing right now?
The mind has a habit of dragging us away form the present, replaying events in the past or fretting about the future. Distractions us from the joy of now and allowing us to be consciously in our bodies.
Let’s be honest, often we would rather not be present with what is happening. Tuning into our body and our breathe helps to bring our awareness to what is going on underneath all the mental chatter.
This short meditation helps us to sit with ourselves, being aware of being aware. Give it a try - it can be done anywhere other than when you are driving!
